Pet Stain & Odor Removal
Pet odor comes from bacteria breaking down what was spilled. How completely we can remove it depends on two things: how deep it went, and how long it has been there. We are straight with customers about which of the three situations below they are in.
Surface level
The waste has not penetrated deeply into the fiber, so thorough washing methods can be used. Complete removal can usually be expected.
Deep penetration
The deeper the material has soaked into the fibers and the longer it has sat, the harder full removal becomes. When only limited amounts of cleaning solution can be used, we may only eliminate a portion of the odor. Odor producing stains in the backing of wall to wall carpet are the hardest case of all.
Severe
Odors from materials like cat waste are virtually impossible to eliminate completely. The practical answer is usually replacing the affected section of carpet and underpad. In severe cases the plywood subfloor also needs cleaning or deodorizing and then sealing.

What we use
Commercial grade cleaning equipment, sanitizers and deodorizers to reduce or eliminate unpleasant odors from a wide range of sources.
